3 June 2008in our last home group, we had the classic icebreaker where you share two truths and one lie about yourself. others then have to guess which of the three statements that you made was the lie. i tricked everyone with my statements. so, here are several sets of statements about myself. each set of statements contains two truths and a lie. can you guess the lies?
I have been skydiving more than once
Invented a laser for the food industry
A friend narrowly missed my face with a Chinese throwing star when I was young
Played the tambourine in a school play in elementary school
Traveled to Vatican City when I went to Europe nine years ago
I have never broken a bone in my body
Helped to develop a snack for Nabisco which is now sold internationally
Went on a gondola ride with a future co-pastor in the water canals of Venice, Italy
Was cast for a very small but visible (non-speaking) role in a low budget movie
Totaled my Mazda RX-7 in college because I forgot to engage the parking brake when parked on a hill
Whistled for the first time in a water fountain in 1st grade
Worked at the laser show at Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta
Swallowed two small magnets as an infant that almost punctured my intestines
Learned how to juggle on a tennis court in California
Tore my right ACL during a judo tournament
