.About Us.
Mark and Oleah are madly in love and have now been married over six years. We have two daughters (ages 4 and 3) and a son (age 1). Our family is excited at being actively involved in the Great Commission in our church in Gainesville. Our marriage, children, and home serve as a “base of operation” for reaching out with the gospel.
“A Christian marriage . . . serves a threefold purpose: to enrich the lives of the man and woman, to create a family, and to FURTHER the kingdom of God.” –Jack Roeda
“For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s shall save it.” - Mark 8:35
So, why do I have a website? I figured that in this age of technology and working in a college church, the website is an excellent tool. The main reasons are personal: to publicly live out my faith and to combat hypocrisy in my own life. Supplementary reasons may include others benefitting from my thoughts (only by the grace of God!) and for others to get to know me and my family better. For better or for worse, this website exhibits who I am.
