.Ministry.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…”
Matthew 28:19-20
Our family is committed to this Great Commission of Jesus Christ. This is our drive, our commitment as a family. Jesus wants every aspect of our lives to be given to him. He’s not egotistical, but submission to him is better for us, and he knows it. He deserves it. We strive to submit our lives to Jesus. We’re not perfect, but we are constantly learning how to follow him with the decisions that we’ve made individually and as a family. That is our commitment as a family.
With this in mind, we are actively involved in our church. Oleah is proud to serve alongside Mark as he shepherds as one of the three pastors of Gator Christian Life, a church in Gainesville, Florida. Gainesville is the proud home of the University of Florida, so we are all Gators! Most of the people in the church are affiliated with UF in some way, either graduates or current students. As for us, we keep in mind the apostle Paul’s exhortation, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”
